After 2017, the year in which many nuclear tests were carried out, the world has seen a total shift in the North Korean policies this year.

After the historical meetings between the leaders of South and North Korea, another history-making meeting is set to place between the North Korea and the United States. The meeting was indicated by the United States’ President Donald Trump in a tweet from his official Twitter handle (@realDonaldTrump).

Now, on Friday the president told the media that a date and a location has been set for upcoming summit with the North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un. ‘The trip is being scheduled,’ Trump said as he departed the White House this morning en route to Dallas. ‘We now have a date and we have a location, we’ll be announcing soon.’

He also told that good news regarding the American Hostages is to be expect on the summit with the North Korea.

‘We’re doing very well with the hostages, we’re in constant contact with the leadership, we’re in constant contact with North Korea,’ Trump said on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews.

‘A lot of things have already happened with respect to the hostages,” he added. “Stay tuned, I think you’re going to be seeing very very good things.’

Three hostages are currently under consideration for release:
Kim Dong-chul, 63, who was detained for espionage and was imprisoned to 10 years of hard labor.
Kim Hak Song & Tony Kim both have been detained for more than a year, they worked at University of Science and Technology in Pyongyang.

Rudy Giuliani, who is Trump’s latest lawyer, told about the established contact between the Trump Administration and Kim Jong Un, in which the leader of North Korea has agreed to release the detainees.

‘We got Kim Jong Un impressed enough to be releasing three prisoners today,’ Giuliani said during an appearance on Fox & Friends.
