The South Korean Leader President Moon seems impressed with the US president Donald trump – he said that Trump deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts toward a proposed denuclearization of North Korea and bring peace to the Korean peninsula, according to a report published on Monday.

‘President Trump should win the Nobel Peace Prize. What we need is only peace,’ President Moon Jae-in told senior secretaries, Reuters reported, citing an official in Seoul.

This appreciation came after a history-making meeting that took place between South Korean and North Korean leaders – in which Kim Jong Un told that he is willing to give up his nuclear program if the US vowed not to invade his county.

President trump is expected to meet with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un somewhere in between May or early June. Trump told the media that a place and time of the meeting has already been decided and also gave hope to expect really good things to come out of the meeting. One of which is the release of the three American hostages that are being held in North Korea.

Trump imposed tough sanctions and brought China to the table to put pressure on Kim Jong Un.

Moon in January said Trump “deserves big credit for bringing about the inter-Korean talks. It could be a resulting work of the US-led sanctions and pressure.”

It was suggested be Sen. Lindsey Graham on Sunday that if Trump succeeds in making Kim give up his nukes then he must be nominated for a Nobel Peace prize on Sunday.

“President Trump, if he can lead us to ending the Korean War … and getting North Korea to give up their nuclear program, in a verifiable way, deserves the Nobel Peace Prize and then some,” the South Carolina Republican said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”
