Most of us have fears that our washing machines can eat socks, coins, bobby pins and whatnot. But there was no way to actually prove the inexplicably disappearances.
That is until now, a couple finally busted open the myth about the disappearances. Both of them work as managers at a manufactured home park, they decided to fix their washing machine because it wasn’t working properly.
They found dozens of socks, underwear, coins and even credit cards inside the broken washing machine.
Cathy Hinz (She spoke to Bored Panda), a resident of California, said that her spouse found a bunch of different things after he opened up the machine for a DYI fixing.
After the decision of fixing the machine was made her spouse took the machine apart, upon removing the bottom panel he was left in shock upon finding number of missing items that were stuck inside the machine.
Upon removal of the water pump, he also found a $7 change
‘Now, for those of you that SWEAR, your machine eats your small things, and have been told by ‘professionals’ and others that this fable just is not true… Here is the proof!’ Cathy shared.
She added: ’25 years he has been doing this job, and for 25 years he has been working on appliances, including washers and dryers. But NEVER have we seen this!’
‘So next time you are missing socks, just remember! That washing machine might just be hungry!’ she added.
A women named Sarah Rose posted the picture on twitter, after her curiosity was satisfied. The post has gone viral which was shared with a caption, ‘soooo, I no longer feel like a crazy person for losing random socks…’
