Avenger: Endgame cleared stage for female superheroes gathering to win a against Thanos. Marvel fans, especially feminists questioned themselves after watching the scene, if they would ever be able to watch female superheroes unite again on big screen or not. In this regards, Scarlett Johansson and Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) top the list for supporting such a movie.
Captain Marvel has already stated during an interview to Variety that she along with her female co-stars approached Marvel Studios president Kevin Fiege for starting the adventure. In another interview, Scarlett Johansson has also iterated that she is ‘pushing’ for such an all-women Marvel movie to happen in near future.
I don’t know what my future is in that world. Obviously, it’s a little more opaque for my character, but that group of actresses is so incredibly powerful and when they come together, it’s explosive and unstoppable. So yes, I’m pushing for that. I think audiences want it and I’m definitely one of them.
In a video interview uploaded by Variety, Scarlett showed uncertainty about her Black Widow character and its future in the Marvel universe. She claimed that she was all into pushing for a movie in which all-female super heroes might be included. She said that since that particular group is pretty powerful; therefore, it would make into a perfect movie.
Talking about Fiege, sources claim that he showed interested in an all-female Marvel franchise. However, he has yet to give a green light to the project. Marvel’s first female led movie, as we all know, Captain Marvel was pretty much successful in collecting some good business around the globe. It successfully collected $1 billion worldwide which is a huge feat in itself.
Upcoming Black Widow movie is set to be released in May. The plot of the movie is not yet revealed and the producers are keeping all the cards to themselves. However, sources claim that the movie took place in Budapest. The cast of Black Widow is pretty versatile as it contains Florence Pugh, O. T. Fagbenle and David Harbour.

During an interview given to MTV News, Scarlett Johansson said that it’s pretty crazy how time works. When asked what she’d like to expect from her movie, she replied the usual course, that she’d like people to love and enjoy the movie. She further added that she wanted to be the same character as a person which she had been playing for the past ten years. So, it appears, Scarlett is going to carry the weight of the past.
She said that while producing the movie they did talk about Logan, Fugitive and Terminator 2. It appears the movie is going to have some pointers from the three movies which Scarlett mentioned in her interview.
