Oprah Winfrey has opted out of the insult games and this has become quite clear after her recent statement regarding Trump. In recent weeks we all know that Trump has repeatedly attacked the actress. He even called Winfrey to be entirely insecure and, a few months back, in a statement, he called out Winfrey by letting her know that her intentions to run for the president will be deemed painful.
I would love to beat Oprah – said Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania – I know her weakness.
Now, we don’t know what kind of Oprah’s weakness was Trump talking about but definitely, we know the actress response in this heated matter. Winfrey took the high road when CNN’s Van Jones asked about her response to the Trump’s vilified remarks.
I wouldn’t (give any response), I would speak only if I felt that I could be heard.
Oh, so wise of you Oprah that you’ve decided to take the high road meanwhile showing the reticent attitude towards the Trump. Luckily CNN posted that moment in a video on Twitter.
“I would only speak if I felt that I could be heard,” @Oprah tells @VanJones68 after he asks her what she would say if she had 10 minutes with President Trump #VanJonesShow https://t.co/N7u4pDAaqc pic.twitter.com/tfOrAS9B9F

It’s worth knowing that Oprah’s powerful speech at the Golden Globe Awards hinted that she might run for the president. “If God actually wanted me to run, wouldn’t God kind of tell me?” Winfrey said on 60 Minutes Overtime.
While not a candidate herself, Oprah has following to say, “I will say to whoever is going to run for office, do not give your energy to the other side. Do not spend all your time talking about your opponents. Do not give your energy to that which you really don’t believe in. Do not spend an ounce of your time on that.”
