Megan Rapinoe: A gilded hero following injury of past, sends America to World Cup Semifinal

Megan Rapinoe has done it once again, the woman has scored twice to send America to the final of World Cup. After winning a match against France, the American team has finally reached the final. The win has made Rapinoe the first female player to score two consecutive goals in the knockout game.

The performance of Rapinoe was pretty strong. In the fifth minute she scored a goal to give a lead to the American team. The start was pretty good for America with a score of 1-0 against France. The two teams gave a number of opportunities to each other, however none of the player could avail the provided opportunities to score a goal. Rapinoe became the first woman to score two goals in consecutive World Cup knockout games. The skill level of Rapinoe is at a good level and her recent games should have made every American proud. The next goal by American team was scored after Tobin Heath found Rapinoe on a cross, it gave US a lead of 2-0. It’s well said that the match was pretty interesting. Heath almost scored on of her own but it couldn’t happen because of the off-sides call. The off-side call was a questionable one.

Tomorrow, on 2nd July, the American team would be playing against England. After winning against France, the team has entered into the favourites of fans all around the globe.

According to Megan, getting hurt was a fundamental thing of her career. The star had helped the U.S. win 2015 World Cup. She is a recepient of some good number of awards for her performance. The soccer star at numerous places has concluded that getting injured was an important part of her career. She claimed that it helped her grow in strange ways, making her more stable to both physical and emotional pressures.

It really gave me a different perspective. Before, everything was going how it was supposed to be and I wasn’t really appreciative of what I was doing and what it took to be there. The injury grounded me in a lot of different ways.

She claimed that the rehab process was pretty much usefull. She suffered from two ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) injuries and both time she had to undergo surgeries. Rapinoe 88 point career with 30 goals and 28 assists stands remarkable to the date at school level despite her playing merely 60 games. Rapinoe made to the Women’s Professional Soccer club and conntinued to make history, till she helped the USA win World Cup of 2015.

The star continues to assist and goal to this date, a recent victory of Rapinoe’s team against France is just a tranche of the same fact.

For sure, she rose after she suffered.
