Written by Logical Men

Conor McGregor has announced an early retirement on the social media. He has made the announcement in a tweet and his fans have not welcomed his move. However, his number one opponent in UFC has given a befitting response to his move of early retirement. Khabib Nurmagomedov has used the opportunity to score some point for himself. He has said that there can be only one king in the jungle. He has given this response to a fierce rival Conor McGregor’s early retirement news.

It’s worth mentioning that the 30yo UFC star has not appeared in a single match after he lost to Khabib back in October. This might have created some deep impact on the mind of McGregor. Many fans were saddened after they learned about the early retirement of their favourite sports star. They were not expecting that their favourite star would announce an early retirement. In the past, McGregor had tried to harm the reputation of Khabib Nurmagomedov at various occasions, like he tried to harm a van which contained Nurmagomedov, as it was headed towards a press conference on the side entrance of Barcalys Center. McGregor had picked up a sack barrow to harm the van.

The rivalry of the two players is quite old and they have often remained in the news for this reason. Eventually a match was planned between the two players, however, McGregor lost the match. McGregor had earlier suggested his fans during the show, The Tonight Show, that he was planning to look forward towards a match in July. However, later he made a tweet announcing his retirement, which was contradictory to his views shared in the show.

UFC president admired the decision of McGregor and said that he has taken a right decision. According to the president, the star had the right kind of money and he would have future plans regarding his work regime. Dana White said that he has announced retirement from fighting and not from work.
