Ivanka assails American Children of Poor Fitness, gets a pounding from a Retired General

Written by Logical Men

First daughter Ivanka Trump has recently emphasized the promotion of a healthier lifestyle for the American Children. It is no secret that the situation is bad because of the inactive lifestyle of most of the American Children.

She tweed about this proposition and also shared a survey in which mentions that 9.5 million U.S. children do not participate in any of over 100 sports or activities.

To which she got a blow from a retired Army general, who reminded her that her dad has eviscerated the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition. This retired army general reminded her of the Trump’s weak policies regarding sports and fitness.

The mission of the council is to improve health and fitness of American people which include kids.

Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling is a CNN analyst and a physical fitness advocate. He was appointed by Obama administration in 2013 and served throughout the term of Obama’s presidency.

He responded with a tweet, in which he mentioned that no one is on that council anymore.

During the start of the presidency, Trump increased the number of the council members from 25 to 30 and also changed its name. But has not appointed even a single person to the council. The official website of the federal government called ‘Meet the Council’ states that the member is still to be announced.

The council is 60-year-old.

Ironically, there is no member on the council except Holli Richmond, who was appointed as executive director last month.

Obama, when he was in office, promoted health through physical fitness and nutrition.

Other Twitter users also came ahead and criticism Ivanka for her ignorance.
