J.K. Rowling, famous author of the fantasy novel series HARRY Potter, has trolled President of the United States Donald Trump after he committed a terrible spelling mistake while bragging about his writing skills on Twitter.
The writer taunted the him while he bragged about penning “many bestselling books” and claimed the media “constantly likes to pour over my tweets”. Rowling then went to Twitter to point out the obvious irony that he had misspelled “pore over” as “pour over”. She also criticized him for using capitalization of random words and claimed that his books were not the work of his own but were written by ghost-writers. President used the work ‘pour’ which literally means to ‘cause to flow in a stream.’ He must have intended to use the word ‘pore’ which literally means to read or study attentively.
JK shared tweeted: ‘hahahaha…*wipes eyes, tries to control breathing* Seriously, @realdonaldtrump is the Gratest Writer on earth.’ This was a response to a tweet by the President where he defended and bragged about his unique style of typing the tweets.
Donald Trump wrote in a tweet: ‘After having written many best selling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake.I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!’
This is not the first time he made such a mistake and he did what he usually does and that is, he deleted the tweet. But the famous author also took this opportunity to criticize him once again. She said: ‘someone taught him how to spell ‘pore’.’
Rowling then revived a past memory of an earlier intervention by Trump’s ghostwriter on his books Art of the Deal, Tony Schwartz, who claimed he wrote the whole book.
She wrote in a tweet: “‘Written’ and his ghost writer’s talked to the press.”
Trump biographer Tim O’Brien onTuesday said that the US president is not even an author of a single book published under his name.
