Guy reported about weed killer in B&J’s ice-cream & trusted it to be Dihydrogen Monoxide chemical

A recent test on B&J’s ice cream found some traces of weed killer. Ben & Jerry earns a good name when it comes to chilled ice creams. According to a report, a chemical which is used to kill weeds has recently been found in B&J’s ice creams.

The small traces of glyphosate were found in ice creams like Peanut Butter Cup, Peanut Butter Cookie, Vanilla (two flavors), Phish Food, The Tonight Dough, Half Baked, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Americone Dream and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Cherry Garcia on the other side didn’t test positive.

The good news is that you still can enjoy their ice creams. The level of these chemicals found in their ice creams is quite small. An adult would have to eat around 290k servings per day in order to get any sort of effect. The levels are quite low which is a good thing. However, consumers are getting sceptical of the report. They say that one should eat at B&J’s if they commit to go totally organic.

Now, this user posted on B&J’s Facebook’s page and someone told him that this chemical is “Dihydrogen Monoxide”. Poor guy trusted the advisor in the comments.

Just so you know, Dihydrogen monoxide can actually mutate DNA. It can denature proteins and there are many other harmful effects associated with this chemical. Now, the poor guy doesn’t have much knowledge so he had nothing but to trust the guy giving him false information.

There can be another case too, may be the guy providing the false information actually doesn’t know anything about the chemical. But these two idiots must be taken off the internet.
