A football fan battled 3 knife-wielding terrorists, and spoke these three words, “F*** you, I’m Millwall”. He fought knife-bearers with the help of bare fists. These attackers, the knife-bearers, were attacking and stabbing innocent people. Roy Larner was sitting in a pub with his friends when suddenly three people came and started attacking people with knives. Mr Larner, 47-year-old, decided in a second that he was going to resist them thus he shouted the same words as told before.
Obviously, this was the worst move as Mr Larner had nothing for self-defence. The attackers turned towards him and started stabbing him violently. This gave others some time to run away from the place.
Roy Larner has become popular as a hero, and people want that the government acknowledge him with some bravery medal. Actions of Mr Larner gave people in Borough Market restaurant a chance to save their lives. Mr Larner received countless stabbings but he didn’t leave his place.
He was taken to St Thomas Hospital for the intense care of knife wounds in the emergency. The attackers were shouting,
“Islam, Islam” and “This is for religion”
And then Mr Larner shouted back withs something quite stupid.
I need to take the p*** out of these b******s’. I took a few steps towards them and said, ‘F*** you, I’m Millwall
In an interview, Mr Larner said that he tried his best to fight off the attackers. He wanted to give everyone time to leave the place. He was single against the three and that was why he got so much hurt. He got stabbed and sliced about 8 times.
It was the worst thing I could have done as they carried on attacking me.
Mr Larner action earned him a huge following on social media and people are calling him “The Lion of London Bridge”.
