ER Doctor Caught Cursing & Mocking Depression Patient on Camera

An ER doctor has been put on the leave after she yelled and verbally abused a guy who was having an anxiety attack. According to a media outlet. Dr. Beth Keegstra, who is in a contract with El Camino Hospital in Los Gatos as a doctor, was put on leave after she was caught on footage on June 11 abusively asking whether 20-year-old Samuel Bardwell was actually sick or just looking for drugs.

Bardwell’s father, Donald, said his son had a problem of severe anxiety attacks and takes the medicine called Klonopin. But he had not got a prescription for two days before having an attack and falling down after basketball practice game. He was taken by ambulance to an emergency room in the nearby hospital.

Donald caught Keegstra on camera scoffing when Samuel said he was unable to inhale.

She said, “You must be dead,” and called him “the least sick of all the people who are here, who are dying.”The college student told that her received this treatment after waiting for a checkup for nearly 3 hours.

Samuel said he received this treatment after waiting three hours to see a doctor.

There, you picked your head up. Now don’t try and tell me you can’t move. Sit up, sit up, Sit up, Sit up! I’m having you sit up!” the idiotic doctor was heard saying. They boy told the doctor that he was numb in several part of his body, which was causing him a lot of pain and he was unable to draw breaths.

He can’t inhale! Wow! He must be dead. Are you dead, sir? I don’t understand, you are breathing just fine,” the doctor laughingly added “Do you want us to wheel you to your house in a gurney?

The doctor came with a security guard, Samuel told his father to start recording because he was having a bad feeling.

I said, ‘Hey Dad, can you please take out your phone? I need you to take out your phone now,’ because I had a feeling something was going to happen,” Samuel told. “They just were not taking care of me from the beginning.

She then paced him on IV and left the room. The hospital released an official statement which reads: “We have expressed our sincere apologies and are working directly with the patient on this matter… Our contracted provider for emergency services has been notified to permanently remove this physician from the list of approved physicians assigned to provide emergency care at our hospitals.

The doctor could not be reached for a comment.
