Endgame successfully overtakes Titanic to become the second highest grossing film of all the time

The people from 90s and other age groups might know about the movie Titanic. It was a spectacular story of the world’s largest ship’s turmoil. The movie was amazingly filmed and our own Leonardo Dicaprio played the lead role in the movie. Fast forward to the year 2019, things are a little different. The Avengers: Endgame has been released and it has successfully crossed Titanic in terms of both fame and earnings. These superhero movies were not a thing back them in those days of Titanic. In the past, no one could have predicted that Thanos might come as a villain and a group of Avengers would ultimately have a final battle to save the world. The CGI and computers were missing back then as the resources required to put graphics in the movies were not sufficient. Therefore, directors had their limitations.

Bloomberg is quite sure that Avengers: Endgame would unseat the title of the highest grossing film of all the time. This means that Avatar is in some deep trouble. If the profit earning of Avengers: Endgame continues with the same pace then it would be no soon that Avatar loses its title as the highest grossing movie of all the time. In order to do that, Avengers: Endgame would need to rack up around $1 bn in the upcoming weeks.

The Wrap had reported that by the end of the Sunday, Avengers: Endgame would surpass Titanic in terms of revenue earning and popularity. The Sunday has gone and indeed the claims were right. After having a business of $2 bn, Avengers: Endgame has indeed surpassed Titanic. The lifetime earning of the famous movie Titanic was $2.18 bn.

The good thing for those who haven’t yet watched the movie is this that it is going to stay in the cinemas for long. Because the movie has earned enough popularity, the cinema owners too want to earn some good profits. Therefore, they would prefer to keep showing the movie.
