Written by Wamiq Ali

We all know that this kid, Keaton Jones, made into the headlines after her mother shot him into a video and uploaded it on the internet. The video was all about the kid sharing his experience at school after getting bullied. The kid started to weep as he asked some really serious questions from the bullies in the video, questions like, “Why do they do this? Why do they hurt people?“, the video concluded when his mother asked him to share the way those bullies hurt him, he said, “They call me ugly! If people are different they don’t need to be criticized for it.”

The video was taken seriously by a lot of celebrities, and we all know that major sport-stars and Hollywood actors stood up for the kid. They started to tweet about the kid in order to show some support and love. Later, some controversial pictures of the kid’s mother were taken out of her Facebook’s profile. She was seen holding confederate flag which the internet police took as an offence, they declared her racist.

The pictures of his mom were shared on major news website because of the people who weren’t happy with her pose with a flag.

The wait is over, this is a very first time when Keaton Jones himself with his mom is going to talk about the video which made him a viral sensation. In case if you have missed his earlier video and the prior story then Philly D has done some good job explaining the story.

Now, let’s get to the part where his mom answers all the allegations of the internet. The kid was interviewed by CBS News and he told the reporter that the video was his idea which he gave to his mom.

I had enough of it. They had said that someone was going to beat me up in lunch so I texted my mom and I said, ‘What do I do here? – said Keaton

Kimberly Jones, his mother, defended her stance and pictures of a confederate flag with an argument. She told the media that there was no racist intent involved in those pictures.

The only two photos — the only two photos on my entire planet that I am anywhere near a Confederate flag. It was ironic. It was funny. – said the mother

In ABC news she told the reporters that the GoFundMe campaign was fake and it was a ploy in order to get the money. She said that there might be other campaigns circulating around but definitely, she isn’t behind any of those campaigns.

Now, what are your opinions about his mother?
