Attorney General asserts intelligence agencies spied on Trump Campaign – worries about civil liberties

Attorney General William P. Barr has asserted that he would like to look deep into the investigation carried out by the intelligence agencies regarding the Trump Campaign. He feels that this might have violated the civil liberties. He said on Wednesday that he would scrutinize the investigation of FBI which was started fearing Trump campaign’s links to the Russia. Barr said that spying was conducted and he would want to look into more details.

Barr claimed that spying on any political campaign was a big deal. He was more interested in looking into the details of the spying. He said that he wasn’t suggesting that the spying wasn’t adequately predicated.

I think spying did occur, The question is whether it was adequately predicated. And I’m not suggesting that it wasn’t adequately predicated. But I need to explore that. (said Barr)

After Mueller probe declared Trump as innocent, the shift of the justice department is going on the other side, something which Trump was suggesting since the beginning. In addition to the Mr. Barr’s review of the agencies investigation there are other elements like Justice Department’s Inspector General and a specially tasked United States attorney are all looking into this matter. They want to find out every detail of action which was taken while investigation the Trump’s possible collusion with Russia.

It was an illegal investigation, Everything about it was crooked — every single thing about it. There were dirty cops. These were bad people. (Trump had shared his view regarding the investigation against him)

Trump stood firm during the entire process and at every stage he told the public that he was innocent. The pressure on the Trump was building with the passage of time, however at the end of the investigation he was exonerated. Mr. Barr is going to make a redacted version of the 400 page lengthy Mueller probe report before it goes public.
