Beauty Queens can’t be perfect and this is something which every human must remember. Not only beauty queens, any human can’t be perfect and the physical characters for perfection are man made and quite brutal in nature. Now, look at this beauty queen who won 2014 Miss Asia Pacific World title & later got stripped of it.May Myat Noe, she was merely 16-year-old in 2014.
She turned down the offer of pageant officials who tried to convince her to get breast implants. The winner has given a press conference where she announced that she wouldn’t be returning the crown unless the organizers issue a public apology. She accused them of mistreatment.
David Kim, the media director of Miss Asia Pacific World said that Noe lost her title because she was dishonest and unappreciative. Guardian reported his statement in an article.
Previously, Kim also stated, “We thought she should be more beautiful…so as soon as she arrived we sent her to the hospital to operate on her breasts…It’s our responsibility. If she has no good nose, then maybe, if she likes, we can operate on her nose. If it’s breasts, then breasts.”
Noe, on the other hand, was quite comfortable with herself and her appearance. She took the crown and left the town. She said in the conference, “I won’t give it back to the Koreans unless they apologize. Not just to me but my country for giving it a bad image.”
She also added that she wasn’t interested in the crown value. The crown is safe with her and she has no urge to keep a bad reputed crown. Bad reputed? Well, yes!
Miss Asia Pacific World in 2011 was already accused of winner fixation. It was said that the winner of the contest was already decided prior to the competition. Some of the contestants even accused the organizers of committing harassment.
It’s worth noting that Noe is from Burma.
