Panama Papers journalist brutally killed by a car bomb outside her home for aiding transparency

Panama Papers journalist who was well known for her efforts aiding the transparency in governments just like WikiLeaks was killed today in a car bomb outside her home. Another voice raising concerns against corruption has been curbed down. Mafia sometimes plays a galling role in removing people from their free & just opinions. Today can be termed as a black day for anyone practising aversion from mala fide activities in her life.

Daphne Caruana Galizia was killed by a car bomb outside her home, one of the prominent journalist who worked on the Panama paper leak case. A powerful explosive was planted in her Peugeot 108 which blew her car into several pieces. No group has come forward to take the responsibility for the explosion and death of a prominent journalist.

The explosive was so powerful that the shattered pieces of the car were found in the nearby fields. Just so you know, Ms Galizia was a fearless blogger whose articles got more attention that the local newspaper, since her motto was to bring transparency in clerical governmental matters. The blast happened in Malta, and she was more of an activist.

Due to her attempts to enforce transparency she earned a lot of enemies in the small European Union state. The last attempt of Ms Galizia was to look into the PM collusion with the people behind Panama tax evasion scheme using offshore companies. She had also asked Police to provide her security because of the increasing death threats.

Joseph Muscat the Maltese PM has condemned the accident. He also sought the help of other countries to look into the case details and provide help to capture the people responsible. Maltese President said, “n these moments, when the country is shocked by such a vicious attack, I call on everyone to measure their words, to not pass judgement and to show solidarity.”  as reported by Metro.
